Blane was right, he had judged too quickly about Alex. Especially as he had not done anything so far to cause them harm; in fact here he was attacking a dragon that could kill them all.

With many of the turleboats now destroyed or in the process of being attacked by the rest of the ship, Siyu looked between the dragon lord and the warlord. The dragon lord's attention was on Blane and for now Siyu felt he should leave them to it.

The warlord was quickly approaching them and no one seemed to be attacking him. He assessed the situation quickly (quite surprising to himself due to his lack of battle experience). The warlord was an aquamancer, a mage with a particular skill of water magic. Lightning magic, which water was weak to, seemed the obvious way to go.

However, Siyu's experience of lightning magic was very limited and consisted of the basic spells taught in first year before being assigned to a tower. One thing the White Tower had taught him was how to enchant weapons with a element and this ship seemed to have several aboard.

Grabbing a crossbow, he began the chant to bind the lightning element to the bolts. Blue electric crackled around them and soon the enchantment was complete; the metal lighting up a dull blue.

Loading a bolt into the crossbow, he fired at the warlord. He doubted the spell in itself would cause much damage. What Siyu was interested in seeing was what would happen when the bolt struck with so much water around them. Even the ship was now being held together by water magic; he could only hope this would cause some distraction to help turn the tide of the battle.

Sibyll hated being on ship, felt trapped. All around her battle erupted, dragons and mages of all sorts, but she felt very helpless throughout all of it. All she had was a sword, no real fancy spells to sling at people. Anger welled up inside of her with every explosion. She wished that someone would board the ship, just so she would have someone to take the anger out on. The sword glowed white hot in response to her emotions.

A soft dull laughter came below the deck of the ship, a thud slowly arched up the wooden stairs as a mass of black robes. From underneath the dark hood that shadowed the creatures face, a familiar voice echo. "...wake an old man." Able's arms stretched out as if he were tired. Slowly he moved up along the deck of the ship towards Sibyll. The crooked creature reached out a robed hand and placed it onto her shoulder, his grim growing tighter, as a his raspy voice whispered in her ear. "It look as if they are a bit out of your reach, my dear." Able's lips smirked as he spoke. "...perhaps you'd like if I put you in reach."

Sibyll turned around in anger, swinging her blade at what touched her. She caught sight of the face of who it was just in time. She stopped the blade at the man's neck and could smell burning where her sword touched cloth... or was that burning flesh?
"You shouldn't sneak up on people in battle!" she yelled, trying to be heard over the roar of fireballs and scream of various magic users. "I don't want to be like that bloody demon mage with unholy wings popping out of my back. That seems like it would do more damage than good. But if you could get them to die painfully with Luna," she motioned to her sword, "I would not argue. Seems like you could hurt them better on your own though." As much as she loved battle, the thrill of the fight, she knew that this might take magic to end.

The dragon vanished as Alex struck for it but it did not come out unscathed. The Dragon Lord scowled as she saw a small slight scratch on the scales of her dragon.

"Fool... i told you to worry more about your own opponent." With that she waved her hand and thorns flew into Alex's mouth as the warlords ice reached Alex to encase him. "Worry about your fight and not another mans fight." She turned around as Blane's sword crashed down. She caught it with two fingers smiling as she raised her other hand. Dark energy burst from her hand smashing into Blane's chest throwing him back to crash into the side of the boat. Half his chest was gone but it healed quickly as he stood up.

A wild fury shone in Blane's eyes. He was hardly human now as the wild magic took over his body. Anger and hate rose off him in waves. All that was left of Blane was an effort to not die from the wild magic.

The water lord smiled and threw up a shield of water blocking the arrow. The lightning imbued in it fizzled out without any harm.

"You should know pure water with no minerals or impurities conducts absolutely no electricity. It may as well be plastic." He smirked and water froze around the arrow as he flung it back at Siyu.

The monster that had been Blane roared swatting aside a sailor like a rag doll on his way towards the dragon lord.

Faen could sense Blane was lossing it and in desperation sent a cry out in the area where the ship was... if the dragon spirit was any way related to any of his ancestors she would hear....

*Please Blane will die... he needs help quickly... can you hear me... someone...*

The Warlords ship thudded into the side of the OsOs with a force that would shatter most any other ship... but luckily the OsOs was no normal ship. Men stood back up from where the force of the strike had thrown them off their feet drawing melee weapons as men grinned aboard the enemy ship preparing to board.

The ice and thorns slipped but through an after image. The Avatar of Azazel may have been in a weakened state, but it would take more than that to catch him off guard. He stood in the air above the Dragon Lord, his wings once again manifest.

"Perhaps I haven't made myself clear. The warlord does not interest me. At all. You on the other hand, you might keep me entertained for a spell. In the end though, you really only have half a chance of coming out of this alive if you both take me on. Of course, that was back on your boat. Whatever it is that Blane's tapped into has made him quite the opponent as well. Have it your way, I suppose, ignore me. Then watch me for eternity from inside the belly of the Sorekonkorosu."

He raised the war-scythe high above his head. "Roar, Sorekonkorosu." Alex brought the scythe down swiftly and swung it through the air several times in a row. Each after the last sent out a powerful concussive blast raining down on the Dragon Lord and any who was unfortunate enough to get in the way.

Crystal watched as Blane went mad with anger. The hell, BeastMasters do this to, but only at a young age... Just then her horns tingled and a voice went through her head.
Is... that Faen?

Heartsilver did you hear that?

I did! That was his Dragon! Heartsilver yelled. That means i can contact him! Be just a moment crystal, But i think we should stop Blane...

Okay... Crystal opened her eyes and let Heartsilver do the talking.

Heartsilver kept to herself as to not disturb Crystal from fighting, so these words were ment for only Fean. Fean? Can you hear me? What happened to Blane? This power he is showing, is that what will kill him? At first Heartsilver sent this message wide just to get Fean's location. Hopefully he heard that or she'll have to make the message stronger.

"Blane! Blane, Calm down!" Crystal yelled at him putting her swords away. If this is anything like what young Beastmasters go through, i may be able to connect to him... if not he'll just strike me down and probably kill me... Crystal bit her lip and waited for Heartsilver to respond.

Siyu watched the warlord with intrigue. After studying magic for years, he knew the boundaries of the etheral world and what could be achieved. There were "dark ways", but the magic being used by the warlord wasn't dark; he was an aquamancer, punching well above what should have been possible.

And then it clicked in Siyu's head: it was illusion magic as well. The warlord would have used illusion magic to make his spells look bigger than they were to instill fear into his enemies. No doubt it had worked many times before and it had been working on them now.

As the boats connected, he was thrown off his feet but got up with renewed confidence. No wonder the demon mage wasn't interested in this foe.

Running up to Sibyll and the cloaked Able, he explained what he believed. "I think we can take him!"

OOC: Warlords are great mages; however, they are still human and can be beat down by other regular humans. Kastane I did PM you about this but my PM was never answered and I see you are set on continuing this overpowered thread so I've had to step in and knock the warlord's power down. Still going to be a worthy foe but I want to see some realism from now on. Thanks :)

A crooked smirk formed along the mage's lips, as his eyes drifted towards the warlord's ship that rammed into the OsOs. His black robes hunched over, turned from Siyu and Sibyll giving them a waved hand. "...I wonder what his bones would look like?" Able's voice soon altered some into a soft tone, very calm and tranquil. The cloaked hood turned to focus on this Warlord, a powerful creature Able was certainly about that but even the most powerful creatures in this world die sooner or later.

As he reached the side of the OsOs were the Warlord's ship crashed into it, Able leaned over the side of the ship and landed onto the deck of the Warlords ship. A wild smile formed along those thin lips of his, covered by that heavy thick hood. He stared dead towards the Warlord and spoke in that odd voice of his. "You know, you and your magi woke me from a rather pleasing sleep." He said. "...but since I am awake, please allow me to show you what kind of nightmare you wake up." Able rolls up his sleaves exposing pale whithered hands, the finger tips were covered in a black ash. Kneeling down, the finger tips drew a line on the deck of the ship infront of Able. Then touched the railings on either side of his shipand slowly the ash quickly moved from the bow to the stern of the ship and slowly begain to strivel and rot slowly. "We all will rot some day, this happens to be your day."

"An illusion? Why that son of a-" Sibyll said, whipping her head around to glare out the warlord. "That's it! He's dead!" She didn't like being lied to, being made a fool of by mages. She rushed forward with her sword white hot. Something appeared to be off with the wood of the enemy ship, but she barely noticed it as she lept over the line. She made her way towards the warlord first and swung at the mage with a feral scream. He may have the power of water at his beck and call, but most mages were quite poor at up close and personal combat. They were usually soft and squishy as the robes they wore.

The long shadow hand of Able's curled along the wooden ship, gently touching along the wet wood then tracing those fingered tips covered in that black ichor. His lips mumbled words through those thin lips, that were drawn back against his skull. "...but not only will you rot, my dear Warlord." Able's cloaked body slide along the deck towards the Warlock, coming only a few yards away from him. "...but you will burn away to ash, just as your ship will." Able's mouth opens wide, into almost a grin; as a bright light escapes from his lips is a fireball that explodes towards the Warlord.

The Warlord saw Sibyll's attack well in advance. Mages not be particularly fond of melee weapons but they were usually smart enough to keep enough distance to keep themselves alive.

He span to the side, easily avoiding the blade. His words moved at the same time and a small blast of water shot from his hand, hitting Sibyll in the side. It wasn't a powerful spell but it was enough to allow his next move.

Bringing his arms together above his head, he grinned at the two that had boarded his boat, before pulling his arms down with such force that two walls of water shot up on either side of the boat crashing down on the slowly rotting deck. They may have realised he was using illusions but he wasn't a warlord for nothing and the mind would have a hard time keeping track of them whilst in battle.

In the aftermath of the falling water, he turned to see a bright light shoot from Able. He pulled his arms together, summoning a shield of water. The fireball hit and he felt himself pushed backwards along the floor. Rot was already setting in and he felt one of the boards break as he passed over it. With great effort he pushed against the spell and knocked it aside where it flew out to sea.

This mage was a curious one, someone with a lot of dark magic at hand. The warrior was easily dispatched but Able would be his target for now. Concentrating, he shaped the water of the sea around the ship attempting to hold it together, hoping he could end the battle quickly. Then pulling his arms back, he formed two bolts of water shooting both of them at Able.

The ball of water hit a lot harder than Sibyll expected. Granted her armor cushioned the blow a little, but the water had a way of finding the gaps where her armor didn't cover and it felt like needles hit the skin there. The momentary bit of pain didn't slow Sibyll down though. After the battle she would have time to look at her body and admire the bruises, but now the thrill of battle was too strong. The waves of water washed over the ship, making her footing even more uneasy than fighting on a decaying ship already made it. She almost fell to the ground as the ship rolled in the waves. Quickly she grabbed onto a mast and felt the wood slip a bit under her fingers. She turned and circled around the mage, trying to get behind him. Once she was behind him she made a dash forward, hoping to land her blade between his shoulder blades.

To cast a spell takes much energy for a mage, draining their power and even in some cases their lifeforce. As Able exploded his fireball at the mage, he had mistaken in using too much power. The blackness of his robes grew darker as the shard of water smashed against him, piercing through his clock, a soft gasp escaped from underneath his hood as the shard of water stuck into his abdomen. He pulled out the shard and tossed to the ground, he groaned some. If one were to notice the shard or his robes, their was a thick black ichor that seem as blood on both. Able took a few steps backward in pain.

The warlord watched Able stumble backwards with glee. The man had potential and perhaps in another life they could have sat down and shared some of the old magic they both seemed to know. He was a curious one, scanning his eyes over the enemy and feeling the boat still crumbling beneath him, he at least would be victorious.

That was when the sword struck; pain exploded from just below his left shoulder-blade. An inch or two to the left would have left him paralysed. He screamed, throwing his head up to the heavens. Birds who had perched on the top of the masts heard the noise and quickly took to flight, knowing this was no longer a safe place to be.

The warlord brought his head down, closing his eyes tight as he turned to face his assailant. Blood poured through the wound, the whole width of the sword had entered, cutting their skin and muscle. His left arm was almost useless now, laying limp against his side.

Slowly opening his eyes, bearing the pain he looked at the woman who had done this. Of course, he had under-estimated her; after all this time to be outdone by his own arrogance. He didn't have the energy to cast a spell right now so he went simple.

Pulling his right-fist back, he swung it towards the side of Sibyll's face.
