Savannah sank into her chair. It had been a long night. The longest night of her life. It was never fun to be reminded just where in the food chain man was. So many things stalked the nights, things no regular person could hope to kill.

Things that couldn't even hold a candle to the monstrosities they had faced tonight.

At least they had more confirmation on who their enemy was. Oddly enough, tonight reminded her of an old faerie tale her father used to tell her. The night of death: The Wild Hunt.

"Jumping to wild conclusions... If Havok were here, he'd probably call me a hypocrite." She mumbled to herself.

She pulled herself up, and walked back over to where the kids were still.

"You four have access to the mage libraries. Go see if you can find anything significant about the Wild Hunt. It's just a hunch, but a good friend of mine works miracles off of hunches. Maybe he's rubbed off on me."

Damien couldn't believe how relieved he was to hear Savannah say that. They had been dragged into this madness and they would finally be able to go back to some kind of normality.

He picked himself up and turned to the others. "I think it's time we went home."

Turning to Savannah, he added. "I think we're all pretty exhausted. Do you mind if we sleep for the rest of the night? We'll head to the library in the morning and see what we can find. We'll return and let you know if we can find anything useful to you."

"Right of course. Just make sure you find out what you can. I'll send a few of my men with you to escort you back to the tower. I don't think they'll try anything like that again, but you never know." She let out a heavy sigh. Exhausted? That seemed like the understatement of the night. Few people in this building had anything left to give.

"Go see Shae'lith. Tell him I want him to walk you four to the tower. I..." She stopped and surveyed the carnage around her. "I need to get a drink."

Tie muttered to himself. "Wild hunt?" He thought for a moment as the words sunk in. He felt he knew something about it but had forgotten. "Well we'll get on that in the morning," Tie nodded.

Kyia looked at Tie then back at Savannah. "Okay... where is Shae'lith at?" Kyia frowned and rubbed her horns. They were getting a bit sore from all the excitement.

Simoon you there? Kyia asked.

Yes, He yawned.

Do you know anything about this Wild Hunt? She asked.

I believe so, but i'll save it for later, you need rest. Simoon said, dodging the question.

OOC: Thanatos hasn't logged on in quite a few months. I'm gonna god-mod to get this moved on, but I'm going to really RP Shae if I can help it. I will also email Thanatos after this post.

Damien found Shae'lith outside, looking at the carnage that surrounded them. "He's here," Damien called out to the rest of the group. "You okay to take us back to the Guild?"

Shae nodded in return and stood to attention. He looked towards Savannah and gave a reassuring nod. He would get these young mages back without any more trouble. "Come on, Cloud, let's go."

Damien followed behind silently, he would be happy just to see his bed again.

Desmond and Kyia gathered the others that had headed to the Mages' Guild and quickly headed back towards Savannah. "I think this might be of interest to you," he passed it over.

Kyia and Tie stood quietly next to Desmond and the others while the book was handed off.

Tie still had a very uneasy feeling about all of this but kept his muzzle shut, no one needed to hear his negative comments.

"So you think this is what we are looking for?" Kyia asked.
